Sorry for the late newsletter but that's ... rock & roll for you.

Oppikoppi was awesome………as always and despite the cold! Just your own fault if you weren't there, but see below for more pics. A Special Oppikoppi Live feature will be shown on MK89 by mid-September. We will let you know of the dates.

Our gig in Bloemfontein at the Volksblad Fees was also great. We sounded like a mix between Lynyrd Skynyrd & Guns n' Roses 'Use Your Illusion' era (even if we have to say so ourselves).

Meanwhile we are getting ready for a Cape Town tour again. See the available dates below.

There is also a very cool Blues Festival coming up in the Mother City in November that we will be part of along with legendary acts like the Boulevard Blues Band.

Fanmail of the Month

Ek e-mail jou uit Taiwan uit. Se asseblief vir Piet, ek se baie dankie vir die musiek. 'Suitcase vol Winter' is die enigste afrikaanse CD wat ek besit. Ek luister dit dag en nag, back - 2 - back met Tom Petty se 'Wildflowers'. Dis 'n moerse komlpiment vir Tom Petty.

Ek bly al 5 jaar in Taiwan, en dis Piet se musiek wat my laat begin dink om huistoe te gaan. Nog nooit vir Piet live gesien nie en dis my eerste stop terug oppi mainland.

Piet is ook 'n groot inspirasie vir my, wanneer ek wel my vinger kan trek, die kitaar optel en bietjie skryf.
